CLARK News - Herbartz Gabelstapler moves into new company building in Herzogenrath
Now the time has come: after just under a year of construction, Herbartz Gabelstapler Vermietungs- und Vertriebs GmbH moved into its new, turnkey company building in the Bicherouxstraße industrial and commercial park in Herzogenrath on 1 April 2022.
At last, for company owner Mathieu Senden, who runs the company together with son Yves Herbartz and son-in-law Domenico Maio, the search for suitable new premises where the two previous locations in Aachen and Kohlscheid can be combined has come to an end.
"The spatial separation of our two locations was not an optimal solution for us and our constantly growing team," explains Yves Herbartz, service manager at Herbartz. "For quite some time, we had been looking for a suitable area where we could merge our operations at one location. We found the ideal conditions for this in the Bicherouxstraße industrial and commercial park."
Since Herbartz Forklifts was founded in Aachen in 1981, the company has made a name for itself as a specialist dealer for forklift trucks and transport equipment in the greater Aachen – Cologne - Mönchengladbach area. Herbartz has been an authorised Clark dealer since 2016 and offers its customers the entire Clark portfolio from hand-guided low and high lift trucks to counterbalance trucks with electric, diesel or gas drive with a load capacity of up to 8000 kilograms – from sales and rental to service and maintenance.
The new Herbartz company premises at Bicherouxstraße 67 have been built on an area of around 4000 square metres in the direct vicinity of Herzogenrath city centre. On the premises, there are 270 square metres of administration space, a workshop (400 square metres) and a warehouse (280 square metres). The company currently employs a total of 15 people. The new location not only combines sales and administration in one place, but also offers sufficient space for future expansion activities.
