Flexible charging: one charger for 48 V and 80 V systems
With the introduction of the CLARK FUSION battery, CLARK also presents a new multi-voltage charger capable of charging both 48-volt and 80-volt batteries. This universal lithium-ion charger features a robust design, including a metal housing with wall-mount option, and a clearly visible LED display indicating the battery’s charging status.
This solution is particularly practical for mixed forklift fleets. A single charger can now be used to charge all CLARK electric counterbalance forklift trucks equipped with FUSION lithium-ion batteries – from the compact 48 V models STE16-20 and SE16-20 to the larger 80 V series SE25-35, L25-35XE, S25-35XE and GEX40-50.
For operators, this means fewer different chargers in use, a simplified charging infrastructure and greater operational flexibility. Decentralised charging points can be installed close to the point of use, as ventilated charging rooms are no longer required. Most models can be fully charged in approximately two hours, representing a significant advantage over conventional lead-acid batteries. These ultra-fast charging times enable electric forklift trucks to be used almost continuously. Opportunity charging during breaks keeps the forklift fleet permanently ready for operation and significantly increases throughput.
